Contract Support Specialist

About the role

The Merchandise Vendor Contracts Paralegal provides specialized legal and administrative support for reviewing, analyzing, and managing vendor agreements, helping to streamline onboarding while ensuring compliance with PriceSmart policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review redlines and vendor‑proposed changes, approve low‑risk modifications, and escalate complex clauses to Legal.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Vendor Experience teams to support agile vendor onboarding and monitor contract milestones.
• Maintain a centralized repository of contracts, track expirations, renewals, and ensure correct version access.
• Verify vendor insurance policies meet company requirements and notify teams of non‑compliance.
• Produce quarterly reports on frequent vendor change requests and recommend template updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in contract review, paralegal support, or legal operations.
• Strong understanding of contract structure, legal language, and risk analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
