Credit Analyst (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred)

About the role

The Credit Analyst will review and decide on incoming credit applications from prospective agents who want to add Ria's suite of services. The role involves assessing creditworthiness, setting limits, and supporting the sales team throughout the underwriting process.

Key responsibilities

• Review applications submitted by the Sales team and approve or decline based on underwriting results.
• Set credit limits and conditions for approved agents according to business expectations and credit risk.
• Request additional documentation or credit support when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of all applications in the queue.
• Provide decision support for changes or updates to existing agents.
• Deliver training to new hires when applicable.

Required profile

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple applications.
• Self‑directed work style in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective, tactful interaction with sales and other team members.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and initiative.
• Prior experience with credit underwriting is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Relevant licenses or certificates are a plus.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.
