Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

A US-based digital asset liquidity provider, headquartered in the United States, Canada and Bermuda, is hiring a Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst through a recruiter. You will run the trading desk during evenings and weekends, covering client stablecoin trades, settlements and liquidity management. The position is 100% remote from Latin America, Monday to Friday from 5 pm to midnight ET, with one weekend shift per month.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact in client trade chats (Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp) and monitor stablecoin pricing across liquidity providers and exchanges.
• Execute client trades on the proprietary back-office platform and settle with clients and liquidity providers.
• Initiate and approve outgoing payments (fiat bank transfers and Fireblocks transfers) under dual control, send transaction hashes and confirmations, and carry out chain swaps.
• Whitelist new client wallets and bank accounts with compliance and add them to the Master Address Repository.
• Settle with liquidity providers, move funds between accounts, market makers and exchanges, top up automated flow wallets and settle with FX providers.
• Hedge all stablecoin positions and close them out at the end of each shift.
• Investigate alerts, resolve issues and hand over an end-of-shift summary to the Operations team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1-3 years of experience in trading, trading operations or a related field.
• Hands-on experience on a trading desk or in a trading operations environment in the cryptocurrency or digital asset industry.
• Experience with Fireblocks; experience in a crypto exchange, OTC desk, market maker or digital asset payments company is highly preferred.
• Background in data science or statistics (machine learning, time-series analysis, NLP) is a plus.
