Director of Business Intelligence & Automation (RPA & AI)

About the role

MAIC is building the enterprise architecture that lets AI operate safely inside real companies. As Director of Business Intelligence & Automation you will lead the team that turns enterprise context into execution, covering everything from traditional RPA to AI‑powered agents and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the automation strategy, architecture, standards and delivery across the organization.
• Design and oversee complex enterprise automation projects that span multiple systems, APIs, RPA bots and AI agents.
• Build reusable automation components, connectors and integration patterns for production‑grade deployments.
• Ensure all automations are observable, auditable, secure, and resilient with proper monitoring and exception handling.
• Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of RPA, automation and AI engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, RPA or enterprise integration, with a track record of leading technical teams.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both engineers and business leaders.

Required skills

• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java
• REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, SQL and relational databases
• RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Robocorp, Playwright, Selenium
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
