About the role

Logistics Plus El Salvador is looking for a Junior Commercial Executive to expand its client portfolio in the local market. The role focuses on prospecting, negotiating and closing new freight forwarding business while maintaining existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, contact and develop new customers for air, sea and land freight forwarding services.
• Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio, building long‑term relationships.
• Prepare and present quotations and commercial proposals in coordination with the operations team.
• Follow sales opportunities from first contact through to closing.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure proper implementation of sold services.
• Keep client and opportunity data up‑to‑date in internal systems.
• Monitor market trends, competition and opportunities in the foreign‑trade sector.
• Represent the company at fairs, chambers of commerce and networking events.
• Produce periodic reports on commercial activity and sales pipeline.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, foreign trade or B2B services.
• Own client portfolio or active contacts in the logistics/foreign‑trade sector (essential).
• Documented record of meeting sales targets and growing a portfolio.
• Basic knowledge of import/export processes and supply‑chain concepts (desired).
• Basic‑intermediate English proficiency.
• University studies in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration or a related field.
