External Fleet Manager

About the role

The External Fleet Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing relationships with transportation and logistics service providers to ensure they meet the capacity and conditions required for our projects and operations. The role involves nationwide field visits, supplier prospecting and close coordination with commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nationwide visits and evaluations of transport and logistics providers.
• Prospect and onboard new transportation and logistics suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier selection with Commercial and Operations departments.
• Negotiate rates, commercial terms and response times.
• Monitor performance of suppliers and assigned units.
• Prepare reports on visits, prospecting activities and negotiations.
• Support the handling of operational incidents and requirements.

Required profile

• Student in the 4th or 5th year, recent graduate or graduate of Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related fields.
• Minimum three years of experience in the logistics sector.
• Proven experience in transportation and supplier management.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of negotiation, cost analysis, logistics and transportation.
• Availability to travel nationwide for supplier visits.
• Valid driver’s license.
