Finance & Accounting Manager – El Salvador & Guatemala

About the role

TELUS Digital is looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the monthly close and statutory reporting for its operations in El Salvador and Guatemala. The role will be based on a flexible work arrangement, supporting both on‑site and remote activities as business needs evolve.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process for Canadian and U.S. head offices, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Conduct technical accounting research, prepare documentation, and communicate impacts to FP&A.
• Oversee revenue recognition, lease accounting, purchase accounting for business combinations, intercompany transactions, and regional close activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, support global consolidated audits, interim reviews and SOX testing.
• Guide regional finance teams on compliance with corporate accounting policies and statutory reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and other functions to achieve finance objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of corporate accounting experience, preferably under IFRS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation in good standing.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or staff‑position role.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher) – oral and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Google Workspace tools.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems for journal entry and reconciliation processes.
• Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
