Finance Performance Solutions Manager

About the role

RSM is seeking a Finance Performance Solutions Manager to lead and deliver finance transformation projects for a diverse portfolio of middle‑market clients. You will work within the Finance Performance Solutions practice of the Management Consulting division, collaborating with CFO advisory, risk, actuarial and other consulting teams to improve finance function effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end finance projects, including operating model assessments, business process improvement, technology assessment, shared services implementation, and post‑merger integration.
• Develop business cases, finance automation solutions, and finance transformation road‑maps.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks and client communications to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide hands‑on support for accounting month‑end, data clean‑up, reconciliation and IFRS or other accounting standards transitions.
• Identify growth opportunities, nurture client relationships and coordinate cross‑line‑of‑business resources.
• Support the development of the delivery team and contribute to North American market initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance‑focused consulting engagements for mid‑market organizations.
• Strong project management and team‑leadership capabilities.
• Excellent client‑facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work across industries and collaborate with multiple consulting disciplines.
• Experience with North American market dynamics is a plus.
