About the role

The company, a 20‑year leader in heavy machinery and spare parts in Honduras and Guatemala, is expanding its presence in El Salvador. They are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the commercial team in San Salvador, driving growth in the heavy‑equipment market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for heavy machinery and spare‑parts products.
• Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring profitability.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust tactics.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in heavy‑equipment or spare‑parts sectors.
• Strong understanding of the heavy‑machinery market and its technical aspects.
• Willingness to travel and be mobile as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Caterpillar SIS (equipment management system).
