HR Generalist – El Salvador Operations

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, proactive HR Generalist to support our expanding operations in El Salvador. The role will manage day‑to‑day HR activities across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with local labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support to employees, supervisors and managers, answering queries on policies, benefits and attendance.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Ensure all HR actions comply with Salvadoran labor laws and maintain accurate documentation.
• Guide leadership on employee relations, performance issues and corrective actions.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS and coordinate with payroll for timely processing.
• Track and report HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, attendance and employee‑relations cases.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on HR experience, preferably in a BPO environment.
• Strong knowledge of El Salvador labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HR information systems (HRIS); Workday is a plus.
