HR Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing administration of Rippling for a multi‑location U.S. business. The role is fully remote and focuses on end‑to‑end employee administration, payroll, benefits, and multi‑state policy compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the setup and continuous management of Rippling, including entity configuration, employee data imports, job codes, and onboarding workflows.
• Maintain payroll, benefits, and state employer/tax IDs, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Administer onboarding and offboarding for full‑time and part‑time U.S. employees, preparing offer letters and employment agreements.
• Configure and maintain multi‑state HR policies (PTO, sick leave, overtime, breaks) and ensure employee acknowledgments are captured.
• Implement and oversee time‑tracking processes, clock‑in/clock‑out workflows, and timecard approvals, integrating with payroll.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and managers, resolving payroll and policy questions independently.
• Identify and execute improvements to HR workflows and system efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of HR Operations experience supporting U.S. employees.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and managing Rippling, including payroll, benefits, and multi‑state policy configuration.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Proven ability to work independently, train managers and employees, and follow through on tasks.
