Human Resources Information System Specialist

About the role

Join the HRIS & Analytics team to own Workday Compensation & Benefits configuration across a global environment covering 14 countries and currencies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Workday Compensation & Benefits SME, partnering with Total Rewards, HRBPs and regional HR teams.
• Lead configuration, testing and deployment for annual merit, bonus and open enrollment cycles.
• Contribute to Core HCM configuration and business process design.
• Own end‑to‑end testing, including regression testing for Workday’s biannual releases.
• Maintain data integrity and security for sensitive compensation and benefits data.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support HR decision‑making.
• Document configuration, processes and SOPs.
• Mentor HRIS team members and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize Workday configuration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Workday experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on configuration in Advanced Compensation & Benefits.
• Global/multi‑country Workday experience.
• Experience with at least one additional Workday module (Core HCM, Absence, Performance, Recruiting, Security or Advanced Reporting).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience handling highly sensitive compensation and personal data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Workday Compensation & Benefits configuration.
• Core HCM, Absence, Performance, Recruiting, Security, or Advanced Reporting modules.
• EIB/Studio/Core Connectors experience.
• Advanced reporting in Workday.
• Workday Pro certification (preferred).
