Jefe de Compras – Lider en Hotelería, Construcción e Inmobiliaria

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Purchasing Leader to oversee the acquisition of goods and services for our hotel, construction and real‑estate operations. The role is responsible for planning, directing and optimizing purchases to achieve the best cost‑quality balance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers offering optimal quality, price and delivery terms.
• Negotiate contracts, including pricing, payment terms, volumes and penalties.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any incidents or delays.
• Develop and control the annual purchasing budget, implementing cost‑saving strategies.
• Analyse market trends, raw‑material availability and competitor activity to mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Prioritise internal purchase requests from production, sales, finance and maintenance departments.
• Coordinate inventory levels with the warehouse team to avoid stock‑outs or overstock.
• Ensure all purchase orders, invoices and contracts comply with legal and fiscal regulations.
• Lead, train and set performance targets for the purchasing team.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in hotels or construction companies.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP procurement systems.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
