Junior Accounting Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accounting Coordinator to support the finance team of a US‑based client. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and assisting with month‑end activities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and payment processing.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and support account reconciliations.
• Help with month‑end close activities, including documentation preparation and journal entry assistance.
• Track operating expenses, prepare basic labor and material reports, and identify discrepancies.
• Perform basic bank, cash, vendor and customer reconciliations and support recurring financial reporting.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready documentation and support intercompany transactions.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience or relevant internships.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable collaborating with a US‑based team.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software).
• Familiarity with AP/AR processes and basic bookkeeping.
