Junior Compliance Analyst – Financial Investigations Unit

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst to join the Financial Investigations Unit (FIU). The analyst will support the Compliance Department by conducting due‑diligence reviews of consumers and agents and helping to mitigate regulatory and reputational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate possible suspicious activity by analysing transaction data, interviewing involved parties and documenting findings.
• Research and evaluate KYC/AML information to confirm the legitimacy of customer or agent transactions.
• Communicate recommended actions to management based on investigation results.
• Prepare detailed narratives and reports describing due‑diligence performed and any suspicious activity detected.
• Escalate issues to supervisors, provide remediation recommendations and maintain organized records for audit and regulator review.
• Interact with customers and agents via phone to obtain information needed for ongoing investigations.

Required profile

• University degree preferred or high‑school diploma with at least one year of AML compliance experience.
• Knowledge of anti‑money‑laundering requirements for money‑service businesses.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written communication skills.
