Junior Project Manager (Keet P2P) – 100% Remote

About the role

We are looking for an organized, curious Junior Project Manager to help keep the Keet engine team moving. You will work closely with senior engineers on a globally distributed, fully remote, async‑first team, turning priorities into clear plans and ensuring smooth releases.

Key responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps up to date.
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async).
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to surface dependencies early.
• Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries.
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, routing them to the right engineers.
• Spot risks and blockers early and assist the team in resolving them.
• Maintain internal documentation and processes tidy and easy to follow.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role (internships and open‑source involvement count).
• Excellent written English communication; able to explain technical progress clearly and concisely.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first environment.

Required skills

• Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
• Basic understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication).
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.
• Some exposure to JavaScript/Node.js or experience working alongside a development team.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices or related certification (optional).
