Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building robust back‑end services with Laravel and delivering modern front‑end experiences with React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications, including Eloquent models, authentication, and query builder logic.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with Inertia.js powered front‑ends.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire) and Tailwind CSS.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, take ownership of deliverables, and meet project estimates.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or higher).
• Strong background in front‑end development, especially React.
• Proven ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and deliver results.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Laravel, Laravel 8+, Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder
• Testing tools: Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright
• Inertia.js, RESTful API development
