Legal Operations Assistant

About the role

The Legal Operations Assistant will support Tether's Legal Operations team, focusing on KYC/KYB requests, corporate document management, and cross‑border legal coordination across multiple business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for KYC/KYB inquiries and coordinate responses to banks, vendors, auditors, and customers.
• Maintain and update a corporate document database, managing permissions, version control, and accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and draft corporate documentation.
• Identify process improvements and mitigate legal risks.
• Explain Tether’s diverse business lines to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Prior experience in legal operations, corporate law, compliance, or a similar in‑house or law‑firm role.
• Familiarity with KYC/KYB and corporate due diligence processes.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English.
• Comfort working independently in a fast‑paced, remote, cross‑border environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with document management systems.
• Competence in standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
