About the role

The Operational and Inventory Audit Leader will plan, coordinate and ensure the execution of the internal audit plan for operational and inventory areas, strengthening internal control and complying with Global Internal Audit Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Regional Internal Audit Manager in creating the annual audit plan through interviews, data tabulation and risk identification.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management, identify weaknesses, causes and effects, and issue improvement recommendations.
• Supervise the execution of operational and inventory internal audits, reviewing workpapers to ensure conclusions and recommendations are well‑supported, clear, objective and aligned with audit standards.
• Review, guide and present audit results, providing added value to process leaders and the company.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations, verify their effectiveness, assess residual risk and regularly report on corrective actions.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance or related fields.
• Preferable postgraduate studies or certifications in internal audit (e.g., CIA, Master’s in Audit) and knowledge of inventory and risk‑management systems.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in managerial or lead roles within operational, inventory or financial audit functions, preferably in multinational companies.

Required skills

• Strong numerical ability.
• Knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Power BI (desired).
• Practical experience with inventory management software (desired).
