Litigation Paralegal (Remote)

About the role

Teamswell is seeking a responsible, highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling corporate and transactional matters for small business clients. This fully remote position requires strong legal research, document drafting, and client communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate/LLC filings.
• Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis and prepare analyses for client matters.
• Manage client files, maintain corporate records, and ensure proper execution and filing of documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies to obtain necessary information.
• Prepare and file formation documents, annual reports, and other required filings with municipal, state, and federal agencies.
• Assist with alcoholic beverage license applications and act as liaison between the firm and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate, transactional, or regulatory licensing practice.
• Paralegal certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree; certification (NALA, NFPA) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism for client and agency interactions.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of corporate/LLC formation, annual reports, and registered agent filings.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis) and internet‑based research.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard document management/e‑filing systems.
