Logistics Coordinator – International Freight

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage international freight transportation for both import and export operations, ensuring smooth movement of goods by air and sea. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments, make reservations with shipping lines, airlines, and agents, and track shipments from pickup to delivery.
• Prepare, review, and manage customs documentation such as Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Maintain constant communication with logistics service providers, customs brokers, customers, and carriers to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
• Monitor logistics costs, update shipment records, and support customer inquiries, complaints, and upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• University studies in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service, with hands‑on experience in ocean and air freight coordination.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and attention‑to‑detail abilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is a plus.
