Network Engineer – Juniper Focused

About the role

The Network Operation Centre (NOC) at AireSpring ensures service availability, provisions customer network services, and supports engineering teams. As a Network Engineer you will work with a variety of technologies, collaborate with internal and external teams, and develop deep expertise in network and system administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain monitoring systems, perform fault troubleshooting and escalation.
• Provision and configure core network devices, including IP assignment, DNS, NNI ports, and implement MOPs for network changes.
• Liaise with third‑party suppliers for upgrades, issue resolution, and change management.
• Build, install, and configure network equipment; conduct hardware, security, and configuration audits.
• Develop custom monitoring plugins, maintain technical documentation and WIKI.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for core datacenter services and participate in a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for TCP/IP routing protocols (STP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSec).
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routing, switching, and firewall devices.
• Familiarity with VOIP, VPNs, security protocols, and WAN technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, global team environment.
