Phone Screening Recruiter

About the role

Outsourcing Services International is looking for a full-time Phone Screening Recruiter in Antiguo Cuscatlan, El Salvador. The position suits someone with full-cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring. The recruiter works regularly with department managers and helps them proactively identify future hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone screenings to check applicants' minimum qualifications and basic communication skills
• Meet the daily and weekly quota of phone interviews passed to the next recruitment stage
• Enter accurate information into process trackers and the applicant database in a timely way
• Monitor online resume databases and other resources
• Attend team meetings and calibration sessions with recruitment specialists
• Support back-office and administrative work for the phone screening process
• Help with walk-in recruiting and off-site recruiting activities

Required profile

• Desirable: work experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
• Desirable: studies in Psychology or another business-related field
• Knowledge of all components of full-lifecycle recruiting (sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management)
• Ability to source and attract candidates through cold calling, advertising, networking and referrals
• Excellent verbal and written English; 80% English desirable

Required skills

• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
• Strong management of MS Office, email and recruiting software
• Customer service and technical skills or experience
• Multi-tasking, attention to detail, decision-making and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
