Practice Operations Senior Associate

About the role

The Operations Senior Associate supports Consulting leadership at RSM, acting as a trusted partner to execute service line priorities and strategic initiatives. This role independently manages projects, develops operational insights, and translates leadership objectives into coordinated execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for leaders in executing strategic and tactical priorities, including short‑term initiatives and long‑term business objectives.
• Partner with service line and capability leaders to establish meeting objectives, develop agendas, document decisions, and track follow‑up actions.
• Independently lead projects and workstreams of low to moderate complexity, managing project plans and coordinating activities across stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or obstacles, and escalate matters requiring broader authority or leadership decisions.
• Support implementation of operational improvements, process changes, and technology initiatives.
• Analyze operational, resource, and financial information for trends, risks, opportunities, and potential concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, project coordination, professional services, or consulting support.
• Experience managing multiple low‑to‑moderate complexity projects or workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for U.S.-based stakeholders.
• Demonstrated organization, attention to detail, discretion, judgment, and follow‑through.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and communicate findings effectively.
