Project Manager – Social Registry System Development (El Salvador)

About the role

Lutheran World Relief is looking for a Project Manager to lead a consultancy that will develop and implement a Social Registry Computer System in El Salvador. The role is based in El Salvador or a regional location and reports to the Director for Central America. The assignment lasts for eight months and includes delivering a training plan and providing software support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with IDB counterparts, the Ministry of Finance, and other government stakeholders.
• Manage the implementation plan, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Oversee reporting to meet donor and government requirements.
• Supervise the consultancy team and guide technical staff.
• Monitor risks, budget, and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Systems, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex technology projects.
• Knowledge of both agile and traditional project‑management methodologies (PMBOK, Scrum, etc.).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is desirable.
