Project Manager – Temporary Contract

About the role

Applaudo is seeking a Project Manager on a temporary, full‑time basis to lead high‑impact software and digital projects in San Salvador. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery, turning ambiguous requirements into structured plans and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and track detailed work plans, milestones, roadmaps and critical paths from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams—including Engineering, QA, UX/UI, Product and Business—to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, blockers and dependencies proactively.
• Communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to local and international stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of end‑to‑end project management experience, preferably on regional or socially impactful initiatives.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage high‑demand stakeholders and keep projects on schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and availability to work onsite in San Salvador.

Required skills

• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) – nice to have.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
• Solid background in planning, scheduling and risk management.
