Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to test and validate software that controls or monitors washer and dryer hardware. The role focuses on ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, identifying issues, and supporting integration with IoT‑enabled appliances.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and API testing, including hardware‑device interaction.
• Critically analyze software functionality to identify edge cases and potential failure scenarios.
• Document and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies using JIRA.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality.
• Assist in integration testing with washers, dryers, and IoT systems.
• Create and maintain test documentation in Confluence.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1‑3 years of QA experience with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: SQL, Tableau, mobile app testing, test automation, or API testing.
• Strong critical‑thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to design comprehensive test cases and identify alternate failure scenarios.
• Proficiency with JIRA for bug tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about hardware‑software integration.
