QuickBooks Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QuickBooks Financial Controller to lead and own the accounting function of a luxury interior‑design firm. The role is fully remote, full‑time, and reports directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and maintain QuickBooks to match the company’s accounting structure.
• Lead the transition of the General Ledger from an external accounting firm to an in‑house operation.
• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, and the Chart of Accounts.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, P&L reports, and cash‑flow analysis.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor cash position.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
• Support operational finance tasks beyond traditional accounting as needed.

Required profile

• Proven accounting experience with deep, hands‑on QuickBooks expertise.
• Comfortable configuring and implementing QuickBooks solutions.
• Highly accurate, independent, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to take ownership of finance processes.
