Renewal Sales Representative – El Salvador Territory

About the role

Fortinet's renewals sales team is looking for a Renewal Sales Representative to cover the El Salvador (multi-sector) territory and GRAD. The main focus is generating pipeline through renewals, identifying cross-sell, up-sell and refresh opportunities from the installed base, and working with the Field Sales Team, partners and distributors to develop and close deals. The role is based in San Salvador.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals below 15K, cross/upsell and refresh opportunities on the territory using the Renewal Tracking System (RTS)
• Close deals to reach individual quarterly quotas and drive revenue in SMB installed-base accounts
• Manage the full sales cycle with partners and distributors, and develop account plans for top accounts
• Forecast and manage accounts and opportunities in Salesforce.com, keeping it up to date so the territory is visible
• Complete weekly activity reports with accurate forecasting and attend weekly forecast meetings with the Field Sales Team and a 1:1 with the Team Lead
• Report weaknesses detected during calls (e.g., weak partner attention to end users, poor product implementation) to the Field Team

Required profile

• Relevant sales experience in IT companies
• BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, Computer Engineering or a related field; a technical background in computer science or engineering is a plus
• Must live in El Salvador and be based in San Salvador
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Portuguese

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com
• In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
