Residente de Obra – Ingeniero Civil o Arquitecto

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer or Architect to join our construction project in La Barra de Santiago, Jujutla, Ahuachapán as the Resident Engineer. The role involves daily on‑site supervision, coordination of personnel and subcontractors, and ensuring that all works follow the approved drawings, specifications, schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Manage site personnel, contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor physical progress and compliance with the project schedule.
• Verify that work is executed according to drawings, technical specifications and quality criteria.
• Identify and resolve on‑site problems or interferences promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and track material deliveries.
• Control progress, executed quantities and material needs.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and project updates.
• Oversee the various specialties involved in the project.
• Ensure site order, safety and correct execution of works.
• Maintain constant communication with project management.

Required profile

• Graduate in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Previous experience as a resident, supervisor or site manager.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with construction planning and control tools.
• Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
• Organized, responsible and problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to work on‑site in La Barra de Santiago, Jujutla.
