Revenue & Data Analyst (Economic Modeling)

About the role

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Revenue & Data Analyst to drive economic analysis, data mining, and the early‑stage design of analytical and pricing systems. The role sits at the crossroads of revenue strategy, data science and systems engineering, partnering with Revenue, Trading, Product and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex economic models to evaluate pricing strategies, fees, FX spreads, partner economics and corridor‑level profitability.
• Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity testing and stress modeling to support commercial and strategic decisions.
• Extract, clean and analyse large datasets from transactional, pricing, partner and market sources to identify patterns, anomalies and revenue opportunities.
• Translate business questions into reusable quantitative frameworks and develop executive‑ready insights.
• Define and prototype analytical systems, design data pipelines and model logic, and work with Engineering, Product and BI teams to embed economic models into decision engines.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives such as partner negotiations, new corridor launches, optimisation projects and ad‑hoc strategic analysis.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience building economic or financial models (pricing, unit economics, margin analysis, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and solid working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience handling large, imperfect or fragmented datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
