Senior Associate, Sales Operations & Pipeline Analyst

About the role

RSM Defense is seeking a Senior Associate to own the day‑to‑day mechanics of pipeline hygiene, deal tracking, and data operations for a $25M+ active MSSP pipeline. The role sits within the Pipeline Management function and works directly with the Pipeline Manager, field sellers, and solution architects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the sales pipeline in the CRM, ensuring accurate opportunity records, stages, close dates, and revenue values.
• Track multi‑service MSSP pursuits from qualification through contracting, updating deal status on a regular cadence.
• Coordinate with field sellers and solution architects to collect deal updates and validate data.
• Organize and manage deal documentation such as scoping notes, pricing workbooks, and proposal drafts.
• Flag pipeline risks, stalled opportunities, and aging deals to the Pipeline Manager.
• Build and maintain recurring pipeline reporting packages, dashboards, win/loss analyses, and velocity metrics.
• Design and automate data collection workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support leadership decisions on resource allocation and pricing strategy.
