Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps team and ensure the reliability of Euronet’s systems. You will work closely with development teams from design through production, focusing on automation and large‑scale operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Euronet’s cloud infrastructure, targeting high availability (99.98%).
• Architect, deploy, automate, and maintain mission‑critical production systems.
• Collaborate with software engineering to build reliable, production‑ready services.
• Lead major incident response, conduct post‑mortems, and implement preventive actions.
• Ensure proper monitoring, metrics, and performance tracking for all platforms.
• Develop tools and automation to streamline issue resolution for both public cloud and on‑premises resources.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Networking concepts: load balancers, DNS, NTP, TCP/IP.
• AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, EKS, ALB, NLB, CloudFormation) or comparable Azure/GCP services.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
• Scripting languages: Shell/Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby.
• CI/CD pipeline setup (GitHub, AWS CodePipeline).
