Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps team, focusing on the reliability of Euronet systems and processes. You will work closely with development teams from design through production, emphasizing automation and large‑scale system operation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and contribute to Euronet’s future infrastructure, ensuring 99.98% platform uptime.
• Lead architecture, deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of mission‑critical production systems.
• Collaborate with Software Development and Engineering teams to build reliable, production‑ready services.
• Manage major incidents, conduct post‑incident reviews, and implement preventive actions.
• Ensure appropriate monitoring and metrics for assigned applications/platforms.
• Develop tools and automation to reduce resolution time for public cloud and on‑premises resources.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, load balancers, DNS, NTP, and TCP/IP.

Required skills

• AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, EKS, ALB, NLB, CloudFormation) or equivalent Azure/GCP experience.
• Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
• Scripting languages: Shell/Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby.
• CI/CD pipeline setup (GitHub, AWS CodePipeline).
