Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps team. You will work closely with development teams from design through production, ensuring reliable, automated, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Euronet’s cloud infrastructure, targeting 99.98% uptime.
• Lead architecture, deployment, automation, and maintenance of mission‑critical production systems.
• Collaborate with software engineering to build reliable, production‑ready services.
• Manage major incidents, conduct post‑incident reviews, and implement preventive actions.
• Implement monitoring, metrics, and automation for both public cloud and on‑premises resources.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, load balancers, DNS, NTP, and TCP/IP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, EKS, ALB, NLB, CloudFormation) or equivalent Azure/GCP experience.
• Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
• Scripting languages: Shell/Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby.
• CI/CD pipeline setup (GitHub or AWS CodePipeline).
