Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

Ria Money Transfer, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, offers global money transfers, currency exchange, mobile top-ups, bill payments and check cashing. The Credit Analyst is a key member of the financial team, assessing and managing the creditworthiness of potential agents. The role coordinates the full underwriting process for agent onboarding, working with Finance Operations (Accounts Receivable, Back Office) and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret the reports used for each agent's credit analysis.
• Review and approve credit lines for agents based on their credit profiles.
• Escalate issues or potential risks identified.
• Manage credit line depletion in Excel models and download production reports to refresh them.
• Assess the risk of temporary credit line increases and decide when they are warranted within approved parameters.
• Identify needs for permanent credit line adjustments.
• Manage check-cashing process exceptions related to the credit department.
• Monitor payment rating changes for agents and ensure credit lines are approved accordingly.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Licenses or certificates preferred.
• Prior experience with credit underwriting is a plus.
