Senior Financial Analyst – IFRS & Lease Accounting

About the role

TELUS Digital is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the head‑office finance team for its operations in El Salvador and Guatemala. The role combines technical accounting under IFRS with month‑end close, reconciliations and process improvement responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare critical balance‑sheet reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable and other key accounts.
• Apply IFRS 15 to ensure accurate revenue recognition, reviewing contracts and collaborating with business teams.
• Maintain lease accounting records under IFRS 16, calculate lease liabilities and right‑of‑use assets, and post related journal entries.
• Conduct technical accounting research, document findings and communicate impacts to FP&A and other stakeholders.
• Support accounting for business combinations, intercompany transactions and regional close activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, provide information for consolidated audits, interim reviews and SOX testing.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and other functions to achieve finance objectives.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required to support the broader organization.
