Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node/React) - Remote

About the role

We are seeking senior software engineers specialized in Node.js and React to build high‑performance, scalable systems for millions of users. The role is fully remote within a people‑first community of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship production features end‑to‑end across Node.js back‑ends and React front‑ends.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that connect front‑end and back‑end systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design, applying event‑driven thinking where appropriate.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, selecting the optimal database for each use case.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and implement observability to monitor live systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands‑on Node.js and React.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency with modern Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong system‑design instincts, including data modelling, component architecture, and event‑driven thinking.
• Comfortable with relational databases and SQL, plus familiarity with NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills across distributed systems.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
