SEO Manager, Veterinary (Remote)

About the role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency looking for an SEO Manager, Veterinary, working remotely. You will own the search strategy for a book of veterinary clients (veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table.

Key responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts
• Getting clients found in AI search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) alongside classic organic results
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where needed
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, having run audits and made fixes yourself
• Agency experience across several clients at once
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls
• SEO for veterinary or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus

Required skills

• Fluency with Search Console and GA4
• Screaming Frog
• Ahrefs or Semrush

The position is full-time and remote, open to candidates in the USA, Canada, Latin America or South Africa. Paid media is a separate seat with its own strategist. Applications are reviewed after a short 6-minute Predictive Index assessment.
