Solutions Architect – Cross Line of Business

About the role

RSM is seeking a Solutions Architect to design end‑to‑end technology solutions that span multiple business lines and platforms. The role focuses on application, microservice, API, integration, and process orchestration architectures to enable seamless business processes across enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Translate cross‑line‑of‑business requirements into comprehensive solution designs covering enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and custom‑built solutions.
• Design microservice and API architectures using Domain‑Driven Design principles and define integration patterns with REST APIs, messaging, Azure Service Bus, and event‑driven approaches.
• Support cloud‑native solution delivery leveraging React front‑ends.NET and Python back‑ends, SQL/NoSQL datastores, Azure services, containerised workloads, and messaging technologies.
• Design business process orchestration and workflow solutions to automate processes across multiple lines.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to produce architecture diagrams, integration specifications, API contracts, and ADRs.
• Participate in architecture reviews, provide guidance during design, development, testing, and implementation, and ensure non‑functional requirements such as security, scalability, and performance are addressed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering, application design, or solution architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing enterprise applications with React.NET, Python or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture principles, microservices, API‑based design, and cloud‑native architectures, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with integration patterns using REST APIs, messaging, and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to create and maintain architecture artifacts such as diagrams, specifications, and ADRs.
