Solutions Architect - Cross Line of Business

About the role

RSM, a global provider of professional services to the middle market, is hiring a Solutions Architect in San Salvador. The role designs end-to-end technology solutions that span multiple RSM business lines and platforms, combining expertise in application, microservice, API, integration and process orchestration architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Translate cross-line-of-business business requirements into end-to-end solution designs across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and custom solutions.
• Design microservice and API architecture for custom solutions, defining service boundaries with Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Implement integration patterns using REST APIs, messaging, Azure Service Bus and event-driven architecture.
• Support cloud-native solutions built with React frontends.NET and Python backends, SQL/NoSQL datastores, Azure services, containers and APIs.
• Design business process orchestration and workflow solutions that automate processes across business lines.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Create architecture artifacts such as diagrams, integration specifications, API contracts and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Take part in architecture reviews and give architectural guidance to delivery teams, ensuring non-functional requirements like security, scalability, availability, performance and maintainability are met.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering, application design or solution architecture experience, including contribution to solution architecture and technical design.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise applications with React.NET, Python or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of solution architecture principles: application, integration, microservices and API-based design.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Understanding of software quality attributes such as security, scalability, resiliency, performance, maintainability and observability.
• Experience creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, integration specifications, ADRs and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Camunda is preferred.
