Sr. Application Developer

About the role

Gildan is seeking a senior application developer to define and drive the architecture of new enterprise applications. You will ensure solutions support business continuity, are modular, reusable, scalable, and aligned with the company’s enterprise architecture framework.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain software architecture specifications for new and existing applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and vendors to design reusable components and integration mechanisms.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, review designs, and ensure compliance with technology standards.
• Participate in Scrum teams, contribute estimates, and support QA in understanding architecture for testing.
• Lead technical discussions, coordinate cross‑team efforts, and stay current on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 5 years of systems analysis and design experience, including 3+ years leading solution architecture initiatives.
• Minimum three years of .NET development and service‑oriented architecture experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
