Sub Contador – Assistant Accountant

About the role

The Sub Contador will support the full accounting cycle of the company, ensuring accurate daily entries, bank reconciliations and timely monthly and annual closings. This full‑time, onsite position is based in La Libertad and works closely with finance leadership on reporting, budgeting and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Prepare and supervise monthly and year‑end closing processes.
• Compile financial statements, management reports and audit documentation.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial planning and variance analysis.
• Support external auditors and ensure compliance with current tax and accounting regulations.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting and administrative processes, including digital tools.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting.
• Solid experience in senior accounting roles.
• Age between 28 and 35 years.
• Valid professional license.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team‑player with clear communication skills and high ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
