Supervisor, Consulting Quality & Risk Management

About the role

RSM US LLP is seeking a Supervisor to join its Consulting Quality & Risk Management (CQRM) team within the Office of Risk Management. The role supports consulting, audit, and tax practices by reviewing contracts, managing risk, and developing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review a wide range of professional services agreements, subcontractor agreements, NDAs, data privacy and information security agreements, and other legal documents.
• Analyze commercial and public‑sector RFPs, prepare exception documents, and develop risk management plans and issue memos.
• Provide secondary reviews of junior team members’ work, ensuring consistency with firm policies and risk objectives.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex contractual, privacy, security, and public‑sector issues, offering guidance and recommendations.
• Consult with client service teams on risk matters, update contract templates, playbooks, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Lead onboarding and training for new and junior CQRM members and act as a subject‑matter resource.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve contracting and risk‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and a JD or Master of Legal Studies.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply legal standards, regulations, and firm policies.
• Sound professional judgment, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to reprioritize based on risk.
