Supervisor de Coproductos

About the role

The Supervisor de Coproductos is responsible for overseeing the management of coproducts, recyclable materials and waste generated within a manufacturing plant. The role ensures operational continuity, compliance with environmental best practices, and effective coordination between operational and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper segregation of waste and recyclable materials on‑site.
• Manage and coordinate the removal of recyclables, common waste, special waste and hazardous waste.
• Lead the recycling team to guarantee correct collection and handling of materials.
• Promote and participate in environmental awareness campaigns.
• Supervise coproducts such as granza and liquid yeast, ensuring adequate storage capacity.
• Coordinate client withdrawals of coproducts and maintain communication regarding storage availability.
• Oversee scale weighings, verify accuracy, and ensure proper functioning of weighing equipment.
• Update monthly environmental KPIs related to recycling and coproduct sales.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records for waste, recyclables and coproducts.
• Generate SAP requests for waste removal services and material procurement.
• Track purchase orders and coordinate administrative requirements to sustain operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience coordinating operational activities, supplier and client follow‑up, and staff supervision.
• Strong organizational, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to environmental standards and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
