Técnico Electricista – Mantenimiento de Ascensores

About the role

The primary mission is to ensure uninterrupted flow of people in commercial and residential buildings while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond immediately to fault reports, diagnosing failures in complex electromechanical systems.
• Install new equipment and perform periodic adjustments to prevent catastrophic breakdowns.
• Verify that every elevator, escalator or moving ramp complies with local safety regulations and conduct the required tests.

Required profile

• Completed technical studies in Electricity, Mechanics, Electronics or related fields that enable reading control diagrams.
• At least 2 years of experience with vertical transport systems such as elevators, electric escalators or moving ramps.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to owners or building administrators.
• Capable of handling high‑pressure situations when equipment is out of service and negotiating delivery times or spare‑part availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office for creating service reports and maintenance logs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electromechanical systems.
• Experience in elevator and escalator maintenance.
• Competence in interpreting control diagrams and performing safety compliance tests.
