Project Manager (Onsite)

About the role

Applaudo is looking for an onsite Project Manager to lead digital and software development initiatives in San Salvador. You will own projects from definition through delivery, creating structure in ambiguous environments and ensuring measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead projects from planning to execution, acting as the project owner.
• Define and maintain work plans, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Continuously follow up on tasks, assign responsibilities, and track execution.
• Manage critical paths, roadmaps, and schedules to meet deadlines in high‑pressure settings.
• Empower multidisciplinary teams by fostering autonomy, accountability, and collaboration.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and blockers, adapting plans as priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of end‑to‑end project management experience with a focus on execution and delivery.
• Proven ability to create and manage work plans, timelines, roadmaps, and critical paths.
• Experience leading high‑impact initiatives with regional, country‑level, or social impact.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with high‑demand stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work onsite in San Salvador.
