About the role

The Treasury Supervisor ensures proper administration, custody, and control of monetary assets under the Treasury department. The role combines operational leadership, risk management, and efficient handling of financial resources to guarantee compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise compliance with policies, procedures, and security measures for Treasury‑managed assets.
• Monitor daily camera systems and report any anomalies.
• Review and approve all Treasury cash inflows and outflows.
• Oversee allocation of cash to branches, clients, ATMs, and transport companies.
• Ensure daily reconciliation of accounting accounts related to managed funds.
• Prepare and review monthly integrations and supporting documentation.
• Manage registration of investment‑related transfers.
• Conduct surprise cash counts and vault audits.
• Record and verify commission charges for Treasury and transport services.
• Coordinate cash preparation and distribution for banks, ATMs, agencies, and transporters.
• Maintain operational controls, risk indicators (KRI), and Treasury risk matrices.
• Lead daily opening and closing of Treasury operations.
• Develop and coach the team to maintain high performance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking operations, Treasury, cash handling or central cash desk.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of accounting reconciliations, cash control, vault operations, and regulatory compliance.
