About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Assistant to support a U.S.-based company remotely from Latin America. The role involves managing a high volume of invoices, following up on overdue balances, and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances and prioritize accounts over 120 days.
Contact customers by phone and email to follow up on unpaid invoices.
Track customer responses, payment commitments, and promised payment dates.
Escalate payment issues, disputes, or discrepancies as needed.
Maintain organized AR records and detailed account notes.
Provide regular updates on collection activity and outstanding balances.

Required profile

Previous experience in accounts receivable and collections.
Comfortable making professional collection calls.
Strong English communication skills.
Excellent organizational and follow‑up abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of tasks.

Required skills

Experience with accounting, billing, or AR software (preferred).
