Assistant Bank Reconciliation

About the role

The Bank Reconciliation Assistant ensures that cash amounts recorded in the company's accounting ledgers match the balances reported by banks. This role supports accurate financial reporting by reviewing batch files, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and match combination/batch files to general ledger items.
• Communicate with the Accounts Receivable team to address inquiries and issues.
• Research reconciling items on assigned accounts, determine their source, and follow up until resolved.
• Review bank accounts and verify that batch balances agree with ledger amounts and financial statements.
• Post month‑end journal entries as needed.

Required profile

• Advanced level of English.
• Studies in finance‑related fields preferred.
• Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
• Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
